Ava Park Apartments

I love my apartment. I had some issues with previous management when I first moved in 6 months ago but since new management I’ve had a better experience and you can tell the new people care about the people and community more than previous management. The only down fall I would say is the laundry rooms are always nasty, and sometimes there are homeless people in and out of them (because our gates are never working) so there is open access to the community 24/7 for anyone not just residents. I love that the community is pet friendly, and I have met some amazing people whom are my neighbors.

I'd give this place zero stars if I could. It was my first apartment and they scarred me for life with the treatment they think is "reasonable." Management is awful nobody will ever contact you back or even be in the office during office hours. They'll keep your security deposit and won't complete you're walk through agreement unless it's a 10 second fix they're lazy, windows screwed shut, roaches, paper towels shoved in piping, cracked walls, exposed nails, broken ac vents. You name it they'll have it wrong. Maintenance requests go months unanswered or even completed but they'll be sure to walk by your apartment smoking a blunt instead of working. Was threatened by Cindy to get evicted for having guests over meanwhile she couldn't fix any issues on the property just sat in "meetings" all day. Not to mention they'll illegally break into your apartment and change locks on you while your at work the day your scheduled to move out. If you're thinking about living here I'd rethink it. A box on the freeway would treat you better than this facility and it's staff members.

My mother moved in here 6 months ago & was recently assaulted & robbed. She was forced inside her apartment, thrown on the ground, tied up & robbed. It just so happens that 3 other neighbors came forward to complain their cars had been broken into & some stolen from the parking lot. Management didn't want to break her lease until we got the police involved. STAY AWAY from this area unless you're willing to risk your life.

Lived here for 2 years, raised rent, and never fixed anything that was damaged, our things got damaged due to rain, lots of the neighbors at least 4 had left due to the same issue( their lack of fixing anything) no matter how many work orders were submitted. Too add to that after leaving and breaking the lease they lied about certain things and added extra charges after we had left. I highly recommend those who think about living here. Just don’t do it.
